Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Jim’s path began with early struggles, including flunking out of Mizzou, before finding discipline and direction during four transformative years in the United States Air Force. He discovered humility, respect, and purpose, all of which became the foundation for a lifelong journey defined by hard work, gratitude, and giving back. Jim went on to compete at the highest levels of amateur golf, eventually earning induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
